She embraces Eve, who stands in the place of all of us, and Eve finally lets go of the burden of the past to receive Mercy as Mary pulls her close to her womb where Christ is. Mary Covers Eve (us) in her mantle of protection and the bitten apple turns into a pure white rose. God is making all things new and Our Lady takes part in bringing us there.
