AnneMarie Johnson’s work focuses on the relationship between finitude and transcendence in the human experience. Using religious and secular subjects, AnneMarie explores moments in which the corporeal embodies and reveals the infinite.
AnneMarie received her B.A. in Art from the University of Dallas (Irving, TX) and completed graduate studies at the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts (Old Lyme, CT) under Jordan Sokol and Amaya Gurpide. She is currently an Art Fellow and instructor of drawing at the Stabat Mater Foundation in Tyler, TX.
